Join ECSC in celebrating the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day! Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian Magazine. Activities surrounding the Science of Music will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. covered by general admission to the center.

About The Event
Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian Magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. The Museum Day ticket provides free general admission for two people per family at our location on Saturday, September 21, 2019 only. To request a Museum Day Ticket click here. These tickets must be shown at Admissions to receive the two free admissions.
The theme for this year's Museum Day is the Science of Music. We'll be creating our own musical instruments and enjoying other fun musical activities from 10:30am-12pm, along with our SMALLab exhibit open from 12-1pm to celebrate. These activities come with general admission to the center.
